Congratulations to Mr Corentin Chiffot, who completed his MSc project in BUBL under the supervision of Dr Jamie Collin, Dr Carl Jensen and Dr Christian Coviello on " Real-Time Passive Mapping of Acoustic Cavitation during Ultrasound Therapy using Parallel Computing Architectures". The project was awarded the first Sir Michael Brady Prize for Best MSc Project in Biomedical Engineering by the University of Oxford.

News ItemProfessor Constantin Coussios receives Frederic Lizzi award from the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound
Professor Coussios has been selected as the recipient of the 2012 Frederic Lizzi Early Career Award by the International Society for Therapeutic Ultrasound (ISTU). The distinction was awarded during the Society's symposium in June 2012 and is given annually to a young researcher who has made significant contributions to the field of therapeutic ultrasound within 10 years of completing their graduate studies. This year, two awards were made, the other to Dr Nathan MacDannold of Harvard University. Professor Coussios's award recognises the contribution of the BUBBL research group to therapeutic ultrasound and recognises Professor Coussios's services to the Society. Professor Coussios served as the Society's Secretary-General between 2006-2010.
