We are looking for bright, talented students with excellent grades in their first degree in engineering or a physical sciences subject to join a new and exciting concept in graduate training at the University of Oxford, UK.

On graduating from our 4-year postgraduate training programme you will have  an Oxford PhD (DPhil) in engineering, have gained first-hand experience of working on clinical problems and alongside engineers working in the healthcare industry, and will be able to make an informed decision as to whether you want to pursue a career in academic or industrial biomedical research based on first-hand experiences.

There are 10 post-graduate awards available from October 2010 for home students and EU students. The home studentships include College and University fees and stipends. The EU studentships are fee awards only. These studentships are funding by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. The CDT also has one Clarendon Scholarship to award to an outstanding international student.
