CDT in Healthcare Innovation Offers 7 Fully Funded Studentships for October 2014

The CDT in Healthcare Innovation is delighted to announce that it has 7 studentships to offer prospective candidates for entry in October 2014. The CDT aims to train well-rounded healthcare specialists who are fully conversant with the work of clinicians and the healthcare industry. Successful applicants will join an existing programme of around sixty students, plus academics, clinicians and entrepreneurs.

Dr Vicente Grau, CDT Director, said: “These studentships offer an exciting opportunity to continue to develop the CDT in Healthcare Innovation. The first year of this 4 year DPhil programme consists of rigorous training modules in biomedical engineering, modules on entrepreneurship and business skills, a two week hospital placement and a four week market research project. The first training year is followed by 3 years of DPhil research, with additional modules on research and business and business skills. These studentships will continue to train the next generation to fill critical roles in academia and industry.

Six of the studentships are funded by the Research Councils UK (RCUK), and one by the Oxford Wolfson Marriott and Centre for Doctoral Training in Healthcare Innovation Graduate Scholarship. For more details, including how to apply, see:
