University of Oxford is committed to reducing it's environmental impact.
Environmental Sustainability

Sustainability is a significant area of activity and the Environmental Sustainability team provides a wide range of services across the University – including conducting building energy audits, improving facilities for cyclists and running engagement programmes.

The Old Road Campus Research Building was awarded a Bronze Green Impact award at the 2016 Sustainability Showcase, and a Working Towards Award for the ORCRB Labs.

The ORCRB's Green Impact team, The Green Building Team, has representatives from all the departments in ORCRB, and is working towards the submission for the silver award for 2017.
