Website Cookies

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers which some websites place on your computer to distinguish you from other users or enable certain functionalities. For a more detailed explanation of website cookies, please visit www.allaboutcookies.org.

The Institute of Biomedical Engineering uses the Plone Web Content Management System to manage this website and many subsidiary websites. All such websites are identifiable by the departmental brand (see www.ibme.ox.ac.uk).

On such websites, NO cookies are set in a user's equipment by ourselves. We do not use cookies to collect any information about our users.

However, occasionally some webpages may include external content (for example we use the external Vimeo video hosting service for many of our videos). In these cases cookies may be placed on your machine by the external website (in the case of Vimeo you can read about their cookies here). Therefore, if you have any doubts about cookies, we recommend you disable cookies in your browser when you visit our websites.
