Image Registration



We are developing generic image registration technology, spanning from multi-modality registration, over intra-sequence motion correction for dynamic imaging, to registration for tumour tracking. Our models include physiologically motivated sliding motion, tracer kinetics / pharmacokinetics, inferred regularisation, novel multi-modal similarity metrics, super-pixels and discrete optimization.

Our main application areas are cancer imaging, in particular in lung cancer, breast cancer, and colorectal cancer; and neuro imaging, in particular in neurodevelopment and neurodegeneration.
