Erasmia graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece in 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Her thesis was in the field of signal processing and focussed on the estimation of depth from a set of multidirectional images. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Oxford as a member of Wolfson College with a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering. Her Master's project, completed in BUBBL, focussed on the design and development of a 3D real-time Passive Acoustic Mapping (PAM) software system used for monitoring HIFU therapy.
In October 2013, Erasmia commenced her DPhil in Engineering Science, as a member of Magdalen College, under the supervision of Professor Constantin Coussios. Her work in BUBBL currently focuses on the development of passive acoustic mapping for real-time monitoring of ultrasound-based therapies.
