Megan Grundy

MeganAcademic Background

Megan graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Physiology. Throughout her undergraduate degree, she conducted research at both the University of Calgary and McGill University in topics ranging from cardiac and respiratory physiology to neuromuscular modelling.

Supported by the Clarendon Fund, Megan joined the BUBBL group in October 2014. Her project, co-supervised by Professor Robert Carlisle and Professor Constantin Coussios, aims to combine approaches in viro- and immunotherapy together with targeted drug delivery methods employing high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) in order to improve the efficacy of cancer treatment. Megan is a graduate student at St John's College.
