Research Interests         

My research expertise and interests broadly revolve around the tissue engineering scaffolds,

including design, fabrication and functionalization, and investigating their interactions with the cells,

including stem cells, both at cellular and molecular scale.

1. Jan 2007 – Apr 2012: Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati, India. Thesis title: Development of silk fibroin based scaffolds for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

2. Jun 2004 – May 2006: M.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Master’s thesis project done at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR), Hyderabad, India.

3. Jun 2001 – May 2004: B.Sc. in Biotechnology from the Kakatiya University, Warangal, India. Bachelor’s thesis cum on-job-training done at the K.N. Biosciences Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, India.
