Before coming to Oxford, Cameron worked for five years with the United Nations World Food Programme supporting emergency humanitarian operations in a number of countries around the world. His experience was both in logistics management and developing operational support tools, equipping him with a sound understanding of the practical realities of operations management. Prior to this he completed a double degree in Electrical Engineering and Advanced Mathematics at the University of Sydney.
