Dani Kiyasseh BSc

Originally from Syria, Dani received his BS degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2018. In the same year, he embarked on a DPhil at the CHI Lab.

His previous research involved the design and manufacturing of upper and lower limb prosthetic devices. At Johns Hopkins, he led a team of engineers and clinicians looking to improve the repositioning of patients during time-sensitive intraoperative complications.

Research Interests

Dani's interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and healthcare, with the mission of improving the accessibility of healthcare to people in low-resource settings such as refugees. Dani is a member of St. Cross College, Oxford.

Current Projects

Dani's current work focusses on machine learning for clinical outcomes ins the context of electronic health records.
